Excellent Quarter Horse mare

Our 9-year-old Quarter Horse / Paint mare, My Smoking Socks “Socke,” is looking for a new, loving home. She stands approximately 15.3 hands high.
Socke is familiar with trail riding both alone and in groups, although she hasn’t been out on the trails recently.
She has been trained and supported in reining. However, I can also easily envision her in ranch riding or trail classes. Due to a previous tendon injury in 2023 (from reining competition), which has fully healed, she is no longer used for this discipline. Nevertheless, her veterinarian has given the green light for all other activities—reining at competition level is excluded solely out of caution. At home, she also performs reining maneuvers.

For all other purposes—leisure riding, ground work, small competitions, or clinics—she is absolutely suitable. She stands quietly for the farrier and is easy to load.

Socke is not sold as a sport horse, but I believe she could excel as an all-rounder. She is suitable for experienced teenagers or adults seeking a well-trained, versatile horse that no longer needs to meet extreme sporting demands.
Until recently, she had sliding shoes on her hind feet but is now barefoot.
Socke is familiar with mare herds and individual turnout.
