Anna Merritt Dressage

Anna Merritt, a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist with Distinction, is based at the stunning Fox Creek Farm in Ocala, FL. She is dedicated to the careful and precise development of horses, from young prospects to Grand Prix competitors, while ensuring top-notch care to maintain healthy and happy athletes.

In 2014, Anna began her professional career as an Assistant Trainer under USDF Gold Medalist Erin Brinkman at Valhalla Farm in North Florida. Over the next three years, she gained invaluable experience in starting young horses, preparing horses for sale, and developing them to FEI level, all while adhering to classical dressage principles. In 2017, Anna had the opportunity to further her training by working alongside International Grand Prix rider Bärbel Eppinger at her farm in Germany. This three-month experience allowed Anna to deepen her expertise in producing horses for the highest levels of dressage competition.

Upon returning to the U.S. in 2018, Anna relocated to Ocala, FL, where she established her own training and sales business. Since then, she has successfully developed multiple horses to FEI level, continuing to build a reputation for excellence in training and horse development.
