Arden – Kentucky Mountain Mare Horses . Arden is a 15.2hhh, stockily built, 9-year-old, and beautiful Dapple Grey Mare!!! She has been trail riding and camping in Tennessee, Ohio, and Kentucky. She is easy to clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle. Arden is a very well-broken horse that rides quietly and will build her rider’s confidence! She has a very smooth and natural BAREFOOT 4-beat gait all the way up to 10mph with a nice lope. She moves out easily and will also pad on a loose rein. She has been ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, over large noisy tarps, and has also had guns shot off of her back. No matter where she goes or what she does, Arden is not spooky acting. On the trails, she is always great! Arden has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that she is asked to. She has been riding many miles in Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee mountains and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. She will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed.
