At Jovee Farm, we specialize in breeding high-quality ponies and horses by carefully selecting top mares and proven stallions, often using imported frozen semen. Our breeding pairs are chosen based on performance, movement, conformation, and temperament, all of which are demonstrated through inspection results, show achievements, and performance records. Our goal is to produce the next generation of exceptional athletes who not only excel in dressage and jumping but also possess outstanding temperaments, a strong work ethic, and a friendly, people-oriented disposition.

Our foals are raised in a well-managed small-herd environment where their health, nutrition, daily handling, and manners are prioritized. Jovee Farm’s breeding program has been highly successful, producing notable horses like Phenix, our Sportpony stallion, who is approved by Westfalen NA and ISR/Oldenburg. We also offer comprehensive foaling services, from birth to weaning, with a focus on gentling and handling to ensure that our young horses develop excellent manners and a strong foundation for future training.

Although we typically breed only one or two foals per year, almost every horse and pony we have produced since our founding in 2005 has qualified for the USDF Breeders Championship Series Finals, held annually at Dressage at Devon. Many of our Hanoverians have gone on to become USDF Horses of the Year in the DSHB division, and several of our ponies have won USDF All Breeds Championships. In both 2017 and 2020, we were named Reserve Champion for the USDF DSHB Breeder of the Year and earned the prestigious USDF Bronze Breeder of Distinction in 2019. Additionally, that same year, our mare Rockelle achieved the highest score for a mare during the US Hanoverian Inspection Tour, with a remarkable 8.33.

In 2020, Rockelle further distinguished herself by receiving the Engler-Friedlaender Memorial Trophy for achieving the highest mare performance test score at the annual inspection in the United States.
