Piri-Piri D’Pomares

Piri-Piri D’Pomares
Lusitano Stallion · 7 years old · 160 cm · La Herradura, Spain
A very sensitive, high-quality mover currently working at half-pass in trot and canter, with canter pirouettes and flying changes now developing. Best suited to an experienced rider who can match his sensitivity with a quiet, confident hand.
Piroplasmosis: positive (last tested 21-May-2026, Madrid laboratory). As is common for horses bred in Spain and Portugal, Piri-Piri carries antibodies for piroplasmosis. He shows no clinical signs and this does not affect his soundness, performance, or daily care. Buyers intending to export outside the EU should be aware that import requirements for piroplasmosis-positive horses vary by destination country — happy to discuss specifics.
