This 8-year-old 14.2-14.3 hand Andalusian cross gelding is the most incredible looking dude with his stunning color and long thick mane, tail and forelock! Simba has lovely conformation and a pretty build; he is sound and has no physical limitations. He is strikingly handsome and one to get you noticed down the trail or put in the arena! He goes through water, over logs, up and down steep grades and isn’t bothered by rugged terrain. He has been ridden around traffic, with equipment operating, around cows and dogs without issue. In the arena, Simba is an uncomplicated point and shoot kind of ride. He will walk, trot and canter both ways, take both leads, stop, back, a nd flex laterally in a snaffle. He has been ridden both English and western and will trot poles and take a cross rail. Simba is naturally just a very easygoing horse. I’ve pulled a sled on him, carried a flag, opened a beach umbrella and carried it around, ridden over tarps/bridges, around and through other various obstacles, etc. Simba would make an excellent horse for anyone looking for a steady, safe trail horse or confidence booster.
