Sweetwater Stud

We offer high-quality horses in Bulgaria with Trakehner lineage or Thoroughbred bloodlines, available in various age groups, training levels, and price ranges. Nearly every horse in our stable is available for purchase—with our homebred horses, this applies without exception. The offspring of our stallion SWEETWATERS ZIETHEN TSF, including his first crop from 2019 and the most recent from 2022, are all currently on the market. As strong believers in the potential of this promising young sire, we aim to place each of his foals in supportive and dedicated hands.

Our breeding philosophy focuses on offering Trakehners and Thoroughbreds that are both genetically diverse and athletically promising, without pre-selection. We value genetic variety just as highly as proven performance, especially through maternal lines and dam families. Since 2012, our broodmare herd has steadily grown, and we’re now in a position to maintain our own lines while also offering experienced and well-established broodmares to committed breeders.

All of our horses are raised in environments that meet their natural needs. Young horses are started gently, either with us or by trusted trainers, and developed with care to support their long-term potential.
