I started horseback riding at the age of 8, taking lessons at a small private facility. When I was 12, my parents bought me a Westphalian gelding named Monsun, whom I had fallen in love with at a neighbor’s stable. This marked the beginning of my journey into competitive riding under the guidance of an experienced event rider.

At 15, I had the privilege of receiving regular riding lessons from Olympic gold medalist Harry Boldt. By the age of 16, I won my first M-level dressage competition, even against professional riders.

Now, with over 40 years of riding experience, I look back on a successful career that included competing and winning in S-level and St. George tests until just a few years ago.

We have established a small, well-maintained riding center here on the Costa Brava, near Figueres, Roses, and Empuriabrava. The center features spacious horse boxes (4x3m and 4x6m), large turnout areas for the horses, and a 50x20m riding arena.

We’ve been living here for 15 years, and during that time, I’ve gotten to know both the land and the people. My active participation in competitions has helped me build many solid, professional connections. All the horses featured on our website are ones I know personally, including their owners or breeders. I film and assess the horses myself, and I also test some of them under saddle.

Finally, I must express my disappointment with the many dishonest individuals in the horse trade, whose unethical practices make life difficult for those of us who strive to work honestly and ethically.
